This good old fashioned family BBQ features affordable fare, free admission, and live bands on the main stage with Princess Katie and Racer Steve, The 45’s, and Bishop’s Gate.  The children’s side will feature Zumbatomics (Zumba for kids!) and a dance party with DJ Grip.  Pay-One-Price tickets will be available for bouncy castles, carnival games, arts and crafts, face-painting, dress up and more.  Cupcake Castle will be there again, where you can decorate your own cupcake, and the EAK tent in the Fifth Grade Garden will showcase all the Foundation’s works throughout the past year.

The Family Auction is bigger and better than ever, and is joined this year by EAK Raffle, Jr., a quick and easy prize winner for kids.  Also new this year is the HFF Mud Slide, where sliders who have raised $100 or more get down and dirty – literally- for charity!

Our Mission Statement
The Hance Family Foundation has been founded to honor the memories of Emma, Alyson and Kate Hance, who died in a tragic car accident on July 26, 2009 at ages 8, 7 and 5.

The funds raised for this Foundation will be used to support children’s endeavors, with an initial emphasis on serving the children of the Village of Floral Park. The intention of the Foundation is to honor the memories of these extraordinary girls by helping as many children as possible, in as many ways as possible.

The Hance family is deeply grateful for the overwhelming response to the Foundation’s creation and looks forward to directing the funds toward worthy causes. With the generous support of both strangers and friends alike, the Hance Family Foundation will have a tremendous impact on many young people and will celebrate Emma, Alyson and Kate’s lives by providing resources to children in need.

Healthy, safe and happy children are the highest priority for the Hance Family Foundation.

We are a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
